Mitsubishi wire-cut EDM MV series
meet expectations with extremely high precision. Mitsubishi Electric helps improve customer productivity with total solutions that include machinery, power, adaptive control, and automated systems and networks.
Mitsubishi wire-cut EDMMV series are equipped with a new IoT controller "D-CUBES" to improve machining accuracy and increase productivity. MV series wire cutting machines (EDM) includes 2 main lines:
Generation of high-performance target innovation machines (MV-R Series)
Generation of standard machines with the goal of cost optimization (MV-S Series)
Automation with Threading
The new annealing system significantly enhances wire threading with a curl ratio of less than 10%. It also greatly improves wire break point insertion for thick workpieces. Wire threading can be adjusted according to the shape of the workpiece, with options for jet stream on, jet stream off, and submerged break point insertion.
Machining Accuracy
Mitsubishi wire-cut EDMMV series features a linear shaft motor (LSM) and an optical drive system (ODS) that achieves circular accuracy within 1 UM.
Improved Productivity
Mitsubishi Electric's proprietary AI technology gathers real-time information during machining to detect conditions such as workpiece thickness and nozzle distance. It then automatically adjusts the machining parameters, ensuring stable and high-accuracy machining without manual adjustments, even with stepped workpieces or varying nozzle distances.
Operability
Information is displayed on a large 19-inch screen, and functions can be accessed with one touch from the home screen. The number of operations needed from setup to machining is reduced by nearly 40% compared to previous models. Setup performance is enhanced by a thin manual control box with an LED display.
Energy Saving, Low Operating Cost
The machine's operating costs can be monitored on the management screen, aiding in budget planning.
